Jumping to the Close

Why it sucks.

i think Gary Vaynerchuk would label this something like “pulling the 18 year old dude move” trying to close on our first transaction.

🚫 Don’t pitch a product or service before you know it’s something that your prospect could benefit from.

🚫 Don’t use made up numbers like “we’ve helped over 1500 companies,” prospects can see through this bullshit and it makes you look “Sus” as the kids say.

🚫 Don’t ask a prospect for personal information, like a phone number, before you have established your credibility.

✅ Rather than pull the 18 year old dude move, actually invest time in learning about your prospects and their needs.
