Why it sucks.

Making this up is just not a great sales strategy. i’ve never heard of this person, this company, and i’ve never been in contact with them.

🚫 Don’t use these sleazy tactics where you are literally making things up, it’s just not a good look.

🚫 Don’t do the connect-n-pitch approach. If you want to truly connect, great but don’t bundle it with an instant sales pitch. It’s gross.

🚫 Don’t use your LinkedIn list as a prospect list.

✅ Practice selling with empathy and honestly. Honesty and sales you say, those two things don’t seem to go together. That’s right, so being an honest biz dev exec will instantly put you in an elite class.
