Why it sucks.

Most cold outreach emails today are using some sort of AI to scape publicly available data, like LinkedIn, and then plug that data into an email as if to make it “personal” but personal it is not.

🚫 Don’t use these sleazy tactics where you are literally making things up, it’s just not a good look. You don’t know anything about where i went to school.

🚫 A wealth of public data IS available but it takes work to consume it and use the insights to craft an authentic response, don’t assume the AI will automatically do this for you.

🚫 Don’t use reference customers that mean nothing to your prospect. Who the hell is Trick Dog Technology?

✅ Focus on quality over quantity. This net fishing approach to sales, literally trying to drag up anything you can catch, will universally bring in a low quality buyer. A more targeted approach will produce less leads but will prove to be far more valuable and sustainable in the long run.
