Be Careful Telling an Expert That You Can Do It Better

Why it sucks.

If you are a junior chef, just getting started in your career, be careful telling a Michelin Star chef you can do their job better than they can.

🚫 Don’t be lazy and send a prospect you’ve never researched, an email pitching your services, it will kill any credibility you have.

🚫 Don’t pitch your services, to an expert that offers the same services, you won’t make many friends this way.

🚫 Don’t show your lack of research by including messaging e.g. Boxing Day, that may not align with your prospect.

✅ Have confidence in your product and/or services, talk about how what you offer could align with the needs of your prospect. This can ONLY be done by putting in the work, doing the research, BEFORE you email.
