This is Issue 11, i spent this week in Las Vegas, attending the Marketing Analytics Summit learning from lots of experts and to support 33 Sticks Principal Architect, Jenn Kunz, who was speaking at the event. i also had the opportunity to hear Wil Reynolds present a keynote session — If you haven’t had the chance to hear him speak you must add this to your list of things to do.

This is Issue 10, Running a business, building a brand, being a leader, is much more than the business fundamentals of sales, marketing, and finance, it’s about taking care of your people, practicing great empathy, and doing your part to make this world a better place.

This is Issue 09, do dark patterns work? 100%, it is a proven strategy for retaining customers and we have the data to back that up. HOWEVER, just because somethings “works” doesn’t mean it is ethical or should be viewed as a sustainable business practice.
